Preparing Fresh Yeast For Bread

travelogue Slovenia - part 2

Closed Italy (16 September)
Yesterday's tour will take us is in the truest sense of the word still in the bone, the present day's destination, Italy is therefore approached motorized. Directly behind the Slovenian / Italian border, we reach the pretty town of Cividale Del Friuli. As seen on the marketplace, there are significant architectural differences.

magazine rack on the bicycle, the trend for next season?

Gaius Julius Caesar stood outside the church, behind it there is a tavern.

Inside, the then population demographer was probably not a connoisseur of his subject.

Enough limped through downtown, this pizzeria is it time for lunch.

In contrast to the Slovenes, the Italians speak neither English nor German, but the menu we have deciphered yet. On the left are cartwheel Serrano ham, rocket and parmesan, on the right selection of a salami with olives and artichokes.

When eating matures shut down the same idea to Trieste on the Mediterranean. The weather today is, however modest, and the rocky coast north of Trieste invites a not for swimming.

Trieste itself is unfortunately not a beauty, and the traffic flow in the inner city Grauss. After some Rumgekurve we end up at the port and decided lack of recognizable worthwhile targets in the inner city through the hinterland to Kobarid to go back.

based just over the border we are no maps - the lack of EU eastward enlargement of the Navis was mentioned in the first post - the compass north. We cross one of the beautiful wine regions of Slovenia and meet by chance on the old city fortress Stanjel

gate.

plan to realize good is the semi-circular, terraced design of the old settlement.

left of this stairway is even a coffee, too bad that the money markets are still down in the car.

The system is partially complete as forfeited.

Another part is inhabited, it can even be rented apartments.

input with wine growth.

At the other end we find a stone school.

Romantic input.

Medieval entrance for people to 1.5 meters tall.

This tower was remotely good to see.

madness, this random trip to the Middle Ages has brought the Tour an unexpected turn. With a variety of impressions we leave the facility.

Lazar Back at camp we found the log cabin with a group of kayakers before occupied. During the evening we get away with a slow and learn to talk more about the basketball passion of the Slovenes.
