Japan is a very complicated story. Since nothing will be broken over the knee, at our own Angie is a "policy of small steps," a lengthy policy.
The odyssey began last November with a fixed idea and the first Japanese course, apply for a replacement course and sign up for the course in Bochum. To date, not the problem:)
The real fun begins after the application and receipt of the preliminary approval. Application for a visa means a lot of paperwork, medical checks, x-rays, fluoroscopy, etc. There is also the financial completion of application forms for the International Christian University (to have finally called time at the university), which on the one hand is only pro forma (adopted by the exchange agreement we are pretty much), but one wants to even show the "good" side. (For an interesting side note, until that point I was already invited 14 passport photos to send me to Japan - ing some real gems were there)
1000 € to 1200 € this monetary demand scholarships, universities, foundations, etc. for the general students. So it beats by other forms, and applying and applying and applying, partially supported, in part, rather misled by the International Office in Münster, sometimes with the knowledge of the low probability, and sometimes it with some hope.
came in July then the "Certificate of Eligibility at (considered positive confirmation that it was worthy apply for a visa at a Japanese Embassy, consulate) and the flight was booked. To apply for a place in a residence hall and again for scholarships.
went after the exams in August, then to small Japan (located around the Japanese Consulate General in Dusseldorf) and goes into the consulate, the documentation for a visa - a week later, one can pick it up then. Quite tingly is the further preparation: data back up, copy documents, book hotel for the time until the opening of the dormitory, students plan put together etc. - very nice, the fact is that one has a lot to celebrate. ;)
Well, now I have time for a monent and looking forward to the trip and certainly the most interesting time. How do I open the blog with so many exciting details - well, I'll have time anyway to paper in return for the study support that I get indirectly by the DAAD. Well here is now the most of it in there once.
Am 30.08. I long evening in Tokyo. Until then, I am still reachable by cell phone. I will provide you here with pictures, info and possibly more.

begins the average blogger with blogging so on? Just take a quick look at the popular literature and note: you start at the beginning. Well ...That is of course not - this action would probably end before the arrival. Conquer is the author of this blog (the crazy voice in my head) as capture the meaning of Japan to explore and discover, I arrive in Japan, close to a foreign culture on the ropes. Where
- conquer , curb (to put down by force or authority)
